Waiting on Wednesday #4: Confessions of a Queen Bee + e-ARC COPY!!!

WaitingonWednesday

My "waiting-for-the-release-date" selection this week is: Confessions of a Queen Bee by Crista Mchugh.

Yes, this book is really out of my comfort zone. I don't really read contemporary romance high school novel because I am more of a sci-fi fantasy kind of girl.

But then I saw the cover in Goodreads, I have to admit, it was really catchy, I mean, just look at that... And then I read the summary, I was a little hesitant due to its genre but the Queen Bitch kind of convince me...

A couple of days later, there was a discussion post on who wants to have a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.. **Do a happy dance** Maybe it was destiny after all.. **Wink

I was meaning to feature this book on the Waiting on Wednesday last week, I don't know if it's against the silent rule of the meme to feature a book that you have an e-ARC copy? But anyway, I decided not to read it yet until I post this feature, and right after I click the "Publish" Button, I'll start reading and devouring every words this book has to offer... **PLEASE BE GOOD**

Expected Publication date: July 28, 2015

Alexis Wyndham is the other type of Queen B—the Queen Bitch.

After years of being the subject of ridicule, she revels in her ability to make the in-crowd cower via the exposés on her blog, The Eastline Spy. Now that she's carved out her place in the high school hierarchy, she uses her position to help the unpopular kids walking the hallways.

Saving a freshman from bullies? Check.

Swapping insults with the head cheerleader? Check.

Falling for the star quarterback? So not a part of her plan.

But when Brett offers to help her solve the mystery of who’s posting X-rated videos from the girls’ locker room, she’ll have to swallow her pride and learn to see past the high school stereotypes she’s never questioned—until now.
PS. WATCH OUT FOR MY REVIEW OF THIS BOOK. :)

  4. I have an arc of this I need to get started on. It sounds like a nice, quick read which will break up some of the darker and fantasy type books I have been reading lately.

Will write my review this coming weekend! :) The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it's so shooort, I didn't even notice that it was ending.. </3 Brett is so dreamy! :)
